  18. <p>     If his career keeps accelerating at the same growth-spurt pace,
  19. JORDY, the wee French singing sensation, could suffer a mid-life
  20. crisis sometime between the purchase of his next tricycle and
  21. his first tube of Clearasil. Currently pushing six, Jordy has
  22. the Euro dance-club crowd swinging to his single, Dur Dur d'Etre
  23. Bebe! (read: It's Tough to Be a Baby!), which has topped the
  24. charts in 14 countries and will soon grace listeners' ears Stateside.
  25. Promoting the song in New York City recently, he proved that
  26. he possesses not only adult-like talent but an adult-like understanding
  27. of the privileges of celebrity as well. What does Jordy like
  28. about fame? "The cute girls. Boys are ugly." The free-associating
  29. non sequitur suggests it may be nap time. No. "I'm hungry!"
  30. he proclaims. Someone, order a Happy Meal.
