- <p> If his career keeps accelerating at the same growth-spurt pace,
- JORDY, the wee French singing sensation, could suffer a mid-life
- crisis sometime between the purchase of his next tricycle and
- his first tube of Clearasil. Currently pushing six, Jordy has
- the Euro dance-club crowd swinging to his single, Dur Dur d'Etre
- Bebe! (read: It's Tough to Be a Baby!), which has topped the
- charts in 14 countries and will soon grace listeners' ears Stateside.
- Promoting the song in New York City recently, he proved that
- he possesses not only adult-like talent but an adult-like understanding
- of the privileges of celebrity as well. What does Jordy like
- about fame? "The cute girls. Boys are ugly." The free-associating
- non sequitur suggests it may be nap time. No. "I'm hungry!"
- he proclaims. Someone, order a Happy Meal.
